At a glance
The Audiimax Music Licence grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to perform publicly the music in our catalogue across the venues you've registered on your account. The licence covers the equivalent rights PRS and PPL would otherwise collect for, and includes the right to interleave voice messages from Audiimax Play Ads under the same terms.
What's covered
- · In-store and in-venue public performance of the Audiimax catalogue
- · Customer-facing areas within a registered venue
- · Background and foreground use, including loudness within reason
- · Audiimax Play Ads voice messages, scheduled or live
What's not
- · Broadcasts outside the venue (including via internet streaming to third parties)
- · Use in recorded advertising distributed beyond the venue
- · Music broadcasts where you collect additional fees from the audience
The artist royalty model
Audiimax returns 35% of catalogue revenue to the independent artists whose work appears on the platform. Payments are made monthly on a transparent reporting basis, with rights cleared via de-registration from PRS and PPL for participating artists.
